August 11 marks 39 years since Geoff Boycott became the first player to hit his 100th century in a Test match. The hundred hundreds club will most likely not have any more members. With the focus on international cricket, and longevity an issue in an age of packed itineraries, it will be hard to add to the 25 batsmen who have achieved this feat in first-class cricket.

Mark Ramprakash was the last batsman to score 100 hundreds, in 2008. Graeme Hick had reached the milestone in1998, and both had relatively modest international careers.
